The restoration of the 80-year-old mill on Little Sydney Road marks a new chapter for the mill and the region’s timber industry. Operations commenced at the refurbished and upgraded timber mill in November 2023. Prolam will debark, mill and treat New Zealand grown radiata pine at the site, ready for its use in the production of glulam posts, beams and portals used in the construction of homes and commercial buildings nationwide.
